McGILL FANNING Mr and Mrs John McGill, of Dumfries, are proud to announce the engagement of their son, Douglas Iain McGill, to Laura Elizabeth Fanning, daughter of Linda Fanning, of Aylsham, Norfolk. They plan to marry at New Abbey Parish Church in December of this year. Miss Fanning is a primary school teacher for the Service Children's Education. Capt McGill is an officer in the Royal Logistic Corps, currently serving in Northern Germany
